Registration Process and Fees

Important information about the registration process, fees, and deadlines.

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY!

1) Overview of the Registration Process

We are using a web-based system, CVENT (https://www.cvent.com/d/3jqxr6)

Web Site: https://2021.robocup.org/

Only qualified teams can register. Please wait until your league qualifies the teams and your team will be available in CVENT. There is a registration password necessary which we will send to the team leaders of the qualified teams.

This year, registration for each qualified team will include the registration and fee of one team member. When completing the “Major Team” registration, you will need to input the name and contact information for one team member. In addition to registering your team + 1 member, all other participating team leaders and team members will need to register as Major Faculty/Staff or Major Student participants. Please Note: All registrations require a separate email address. The CVENT system will not accept multiple registrations under one email address.

REGISTRATIONS ARE ONLY COMPLETE WHEN PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

Credit card payments are immediately validated.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD.

The other available method of payment takes time. No registration is considered complete until full payment is received.

We have MAJOR leagues and JUNIOR leagues. All fees are in US Dollars (USD).

Due to the event being hosted online, the organization expenses are much less than in usual years. As a result, and also thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we are able to offer registration at a very substantial discount compared to previous years. The registration deadlines and entry fees are listed below.

2) MAJOR Leagues Registration - Dates and Fees

Qualified teams are organized by league. No Major team can register after June 7, 2021.

Team members can only register after their team registration is complete.


Major Team registration deadline: June 7, 2021

Major Faculty/Staff and Student registration deadline: June 28, 2021

Major Team + 1 member: $100

Additional Major Faculty/Staff: $50

Additional Major Student: $20


3) JUNIOR Leagues Registration – Process, Dates and Fees

This year, registration for each qualified team will include the registration and fee of one mentor. When completing the “Junior Team” registration, you will need to input the name and contact information for one mentor. In addition to registering your team + 1 mentor, all other participating mentors and team members will need to register as Junior Mentor or Junior Student participants. Please Note: All registrations require a separate email address. The CVENT system will not accept multiple registrations under one email address.

Qualified teams are organized by regions. No Junior team can register after June 7, 2021.

Team members can only register after their team registration is complete.

Junior Team registration deadline: June 7, 2021

Junior Student registration deadline: June 28, 2021

Junior Team + 1 Mentor: $50

Junior Mentor/Student: $20


NOTES:

  • Before you can register your junior team, the team must be qualified. Please contact your RoboCupJunior Regional Representative for all questions concerning qualification.

  • Junior teams MUST consist of ONE MENTOR and a minimum of TWO STUDENT MEMBERS in order to register.

  • We STRONGLY RECOMMEND teams to register ALL JUNIOR STUDENTS AT ONCE.

  • Please complete the following registrations: 1 JUNIOR TEAM + Mentor (in mentor’s name) and a minimum of TWO JUNIOR STUDENT registrations (one for each student member)


4) Registration as Symposium Only Participant - Fees

It is possible for both faculty and students to register as Symposium Only participants.

On the registration web site, choose “Symposium Only Faculty/Staff'' or ''Symposium Only Student''.

“Symposium Only” Registration:

Faculty/Staff: $50

Student: $20


All registered team members are automatically admitted to the Symposium. Team members do not need to register separately for the symposium.


5) Payment Methods

Our registration web site offers the following payment options:

a) Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX). THIS IS THE PREFERRED METHOD.


b) Wire Transfer (USD). AVAILABLE ONLY UNTIL June 7, 2021.

Wire transfer should be used in exceptional cases only, and if credit card payment is not possible. Registration will be considered complete only if the amount due is received IN ITS TOTALITY IN US DOLLARS in the bank account on or before June 7, 2021. It is your responsibility to ensure that this will be the case. In order to help expedite the payment process, we ask that you please send your wire transfer transaction information to april.robocup@gmail.com. Please note that wire transfer payments will be deactivated after June 7, 2021.
